Suntree Foods is a trusted sourcing and distribution partner for nuts, dried fruits, and edible seeds. Founded by five friends with over 100 years of combined experience, we’re built on quality, sustainability, and genuine partnerships. With a deep passion for plant-based ingredients and ethical supply chains, we connect dedicated growers with responsible food brands – delivering natural ingredients with care and purpose.

In our centrally located office in Leiderdorp (The Netherlands), five business friends Paul, Wouter, Alex, Wim and Menno have pooled over 100 years of combined expertise in the trade of natural food products. What began as a shared fascination with wholesome, plant‑based ingredients has grown into a dynamic sourcing and distribution business built on three pillars: quality, sustainability and genuine partnerships with customers and suppliers in origin.

Each of us brought our own experiences, but we all believed in the same simple idea: the food industry deserves a supply chain that is transparent and reliable as well as ethical. In the early days, we navigated complex import regulations, forged relationships with growers in remote origins, and learned what it really takes to deliver niche ingredients—from premium nuts and superfoods to seeds, dried fruits and more—right when our customers need them.

Today, we’re proud to stock and distribute both organic and conventional vegetarian dry foods to high‑spec industrial clients (think bakery innovators, cereal makers or functional‑bar brands) and retail packers (private‑label or branded, mono‑ or mixed‑packs). Our Rotterdam and Hamburg warehouses serve as hubs for just‑in‑time delivery—your one‑stop‑shop for quality food ingredients.

The sun and the tree together highlight their vital role in nurturing the crops we trade. The Brazil nut tree, known for its resilience, can grow over 50 meters tall, with trunks up to two meters in diameter, and live for 500 to 800 years. These majestic trees depend on the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest to thrive. By supporting the trade of Brazil nuts, we not only promote the conservation of these trees but also contribute to the preservation of the Amazon itself.
